I can’t recommend this machine highly enough. I received the PETmachine as a birthday gift and assembled it myself while I was in my third trimester of pregnancy. It turned out to be the perfect project during a time when I couldn’t do much physical work around the house. The assembly instructions were exceptionally clear, with photos for every step, so I always knew exactly what to do.
More than a year and a half later, I’m still using it regularly and continue to be impressed with both the machine and the customer support. The only replacement parts I’ve needed have been because I’ve worn them out through frequent use—not because of poor quality. Replacement parts have been easy to source, and every time I’ve had a question, Igor has responded quickly with kind, helpful, and practical advice. Most recently, he even pointed me toward a less expensive source for a replacement thermocouple instead of trying to sell me one directly.
The machine has become an important part of my workshop, letting me recycle PET bottles into filament for my 3D printer. It’s a thoughtfully designed product backed by excellent customer service, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in recycling plastic into usable filament.
It’s rare to find a tool that’s enjoyable to build, reliable to use, and supported by someone who genuinely cares about helping their customers succeed.
With the youtube video it assembles step by step , very easy . Easy to print , some parts must be printed twice !
All parts that are send to you are clearly labeled so you can’t take a wrong part by mistake . I recommend this machine , it works very smooth .

A really fun project to build and use!
While assembling it, I often found myself thinking that Igor truly took things to the next level. He didn’t just create a working solution—he designed something genuinely elegant.
On top of that, the kit enables anyone to “create” a complex and functional machine, which really enhances the overall building experience.
As for the filament produced, it delivered much better results than I expected, with some very interesting transparency effects.
So it’s definitely recommended! It also makes a perfect gift for anyone interested in 3D printing.
